Stirling Astronomical Society Gallery

As summer approaches, a number of familiar targets in the Cygnus region are coming back into view. Currently visible in the early hours, by August the Summer Triangle will be high in the evening sky. This image shows the Crescent Nebula (lower right) together with some of the nebulosity surrounding the Sadr Region. Imaged using narrowband filters.
