More giant sunspots on the face of the Sun this week. The two sunspots 4491 and 4493 (near the centre of the disk) first appeared as an elongated ring-shaped structure before evolving into two distinct spots connected by a series of smaller structures. Spot 4491 (the left of the pair) is crossed by a number of light bridges.
