The giant sunspot group seen at the start of the month has returned. This long-lived sunspot group was last seen in early May before the rotation of the Sun carried it around the far side. Now numbered 4100 this sunspot group has been joined by another large groups of spots below the equator, with a number of other spots marking the face of the Sun.
