M100, the Blowdryer Galaxy

Spiral galaxy M100 in the Virgo cluster

M100 is a face on spiral galaxy in Coma Berenices. Approximately 56 million light years away, M55 is a member of the Virgo cluster. This image also contains two smaller satellite galaxies NGC 4323 and NGC 4328.
