Also designated Sharpless 171 (SH 2-171), the Question Mark Nebula is a star-forming region in Cepheus. The brighter and emission nebula on the right contains a number of columns similar to the famous pillars of creation, and is contrasted by the more diffuse gaseous region on the left. Imaged using a monochrome camera and Hydrogen-α filter.
